The 800000 ton PTA reconstruction project of PetroChina started construction
the 800000 ton PTA reconstruction project with a total investment of 2.925 billion yuan broke ground in Liaoyang Petrochemical Branch of China National Petroleum Corporation on the 10th. It is understood that this is one of the first national debt projects approved by the state for the transformation of the old industrial base in Northeast China
PTA is the main raw material of polyester industry. In recent years, with the continuous growth of polyester production in China, the domestic demand for PTA raw materials has become increasingly tight. Therefore, the annual import volume is as high as about 4million tons. In order to alleviate the tight domestic market demand, PetroChina Liaoyang Petrochemical Company made a transformation plan for the original unit. The project of the widest use of glass fiber was officially approved by the state on September 28, 2003the project adopts the technology of American DuPont company, and the core equipment is imported from the United States and Germany respectively. The project will be completed and put into operation in June 2006. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will increase the output of purified terephthalic acid by 530000 tons and the output of paraxylene by 450000 tons every year. The quantity of product quality electronic tensile testing machine, also known as electronic tensile testing machine, can reach the international advanced level, which can greatly alleviate the pressure that "Solvay's materials are deeply loved by customers in the domestic PTA market. At the same time, Liaoyang Petrochemical Branch will also increase its sales revenue by 2.4 billion yuan and increase its profit by 440million yuan every year
